Today: Christopher Wool & Richard Hell @ Luhring Augustine

What happens when a painter and a writer collaborate? Something pretty awesome. In a new publication called “Psychopts,” painter Chistopher Wool and writer Richard Hell explore their mutual love for language and art. Presenting several 2-word pairings that are similar in appearance but contextually disparate, the viewer must decide whether to read the words or to appreciate the image. I like doing both.
